While most of the big names have made their deals, either signing with new teams or getting a big payday from their old ones, Leonard has remained on the sidelines of free agency. But according to new rumors, the waiting may come to an end very soon.
For fans of the Lakers, Clippers and Raptors it's a tough report to swallow. Once Kawhi Leonard, the second domino of National Basketball Association free agency, makes his move, then the rest of the dominoes will begin to fall. If Leonard joins the Clippers team, he will be the main star player of the team and won't have to share his limelight with anyone else. Leonard, 28, has completed visits with the Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers - the three teams in the running to sign him.
It appears that another day will pass without an announcement from All-Star free agent Kawhi Leonard on where he will play next.
The Raptors can also offer Leonard the most money, if he signs the full five-year max with the franchise. Toronto will also be returning all of their most important players for at least another season, including Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka and Fred VanVleet.
If Leonard does in fact decide to head home to Los Angeles, it won't be with a lack of information.

Leonard met with Magic Johnson to gauge just how much the Lakers wanted him when Johnson was still with their front office and what his own level of control would be, according to Broderick Turner of the LA Times. He just wants to win.
"And if they're not, we're going to keep building our plan, drafting our guys, playing well and potentially being trade partners". Even if Leonard wasn't from the west coast, who could blame him for wanting to leave Toronto for the warm weather of Southern California? However, Green seems to be in no hurry to sign a deal and some have reported he may sign wherever Leonard chooses to go. The only players with more in a single postseason are Jordan (16 in 1992), Hakeem Olajuwon (16 in 1995) and Kobe Bryant (15 in 2009).
