Trump spoke to reporters as he prepared to depart Washington for the presidential retreat Camp David in Maryland, where he said he would be deliberating on Iran. Global sanctions had been lifted under the pact in return for Tehran curbing its nuclear programme.

Iran is now also seeking to renegotiate the nuclear deal with European countries, arguing that the deal must be improved amid US sanctions or the regime will begin enriching uranium up to 20 percent - just a step below weapons-grade level.
"We're not going to have Iran have a nuclear weapon", Trump said.
The U.S. said its RQ-4A Global Hawk was shot down Thursday over worldwide waters in the Strait of Hormuz, not inside Iranian airspace.
And warned Iran that if conflict does come, there will be 'obliteration like you've never seen before, ' before adding 'but I'm not looking to do that, ' the president told NBC's Chuck Todd for 'Meet the Press'.

Oil prices extended gains on Wednesday after rising in the previous session on rekindled hopes for a U.S. Washington and Riyadh have blamed Tehran for the attacks, which Iran has denied.

The most recent cycle of tension was sparked by Trump's decision in May to tighten US economic sanctions to try to eliminate Iran's oil exports. Some other worldwide airlines are taking related precautions.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel also called for a political resolution of the crisis, adding: "That is what we are working on".
Iran has said it will not give the European powers more time beyond July 8 to save the nuclear deal.
