The Chiefs have suspended Hill while the team looks into the developments.
The audio has caused prosecutors to reopen a domestic violence case against Hill.
Hill has a history of domestic issues, including a case in which he was accused of punching Espinal while she was pregnant and they were attending Oklahoma State.
Dorsey and Chiefs coach Andy Reid insisted at the time that they did "due diligence" in selecting Hill, and that they were confident that he would make the most of a second chance. He said the Chiefs will continue to gather information and "make the right decision" in regards to potential discipline. We were deeply disturbed and concerned by what we heard. And if even half of what came out of a recent recording of Hill and fiancé Crystal Espinal is true (the details were captured first by Brooke Pryor of the Kansas City Star), there's no way Hill should be anywhere near the streets, much less the NFL. During the exchange, Hill's fiancée Crystal Espinal told him that their son blamed him for his broken arm and why he would jump to such conclusions.
Joe Biden Officially Announces 2020 Presidential Run
Hill herself has long made it clear that Biden had never apologized to her and that she still resented the way she was treated. A Biden ticket would be viewed as a restoration of the dignity of the presidency while also looking to the future.
Several media outlets reported Friday that Overland Park police went to the home of Hill and his fiancee, Crystal Espinal, on Thursday night after receiving an anonymous call from someone anxious about Espinal.
The local District Attorney revealed that while they believe a crime was committed, there wasn't enough evidence to proceed. The NFL is also involved in the case, and it's possible that Roger Goodell could place Hill on the commissioner's exempt list.
Hill, 25, was selected by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the National Football League draft in 2016.
Hunt said that the Chiefs have not necessarily changed how they vet players, whether in the draft or acquired through trades and free agency. It could be his playing ability. "Then if he gets in trouble, you get the belt out", she says. "It doesn't have anything to do with things going on right now". That's a risk you take.
