Avengers: Endgame has shattered the record for biggest opening weekend with an estimated 350 million dollars (£270m) in ticket sales in the United States and 1.2 billion (£0.93bn) globally. However, the film attracted a huge crowd and ultimately Endgame ended up shattering the previously held domestic records of its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War. Endgame also holds the domestic box office records for fastest to $100 million (17 hours), as well as biggest single day, biggest Saturday, and biggest Sunday in the history of movies. While the film was already projected to have those titles before release, no one thought it would be this high.
"When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don't spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn't want it spoiled for you". The film is the 22nd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced over the last decade. Earlier, Avengers: Infinity War had collected Rs 120.90 crore gross in its first three days. The horror film The Curse of La Llorona added $7.5 million in the third spot to give it a two-week total of $41.3 million.
Hemsworth is also starring in another one of this year's most highly-anticipated movies, Sony's Men In Black: International, reuniting with his Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame star Tessa Thompson.
