The Election Commission too said that polls are being conducted during Ramzan as a full month can not be excluded, news agency ANI reported. The statement comes in the backdrop of a TMC leader raking up a storm with his claim that the Lok Sabha elections, scheduled in the state at the same time as Ramzan, will reduce minority voter turnout. We don't want to say anything against them.
Mr Owaisi said, "What is the link between Ramzan and elections?"
Owaisi also took to his Twitter handle and said that it was an insult to say that Ramzan would affect the voting, "Fasting is obligatory on Muslims".
Zinedine Zidane re-appointed as Real Madrid coach
There is currently no news on where and what the Portuguese will do now and if next season we will see him with a new club. Part of the reason Zidane left in June was that he could only make minor tweaks to the squad rather than drastic changes.
"I would earnestly request those political parties that please don't use the Muslim community & Ramzan for whatever reasons you have", the parliamentarian was quoted as saying by NDTV.

"EC has announced the poll dates on Ramzan so that minorities are unable to cast their votes".
West Bengal has never witnessed a seven-phase election. The polling for state Assembly in 4 states- Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Odisha will be held.
