"We will respond differently and we will surprise you (India)", warns the Pakistan Army spokesperson.
In conventional terms, India's armed forces are numerically superior in both troops and equipment, making it likely that they would overpower Pakistan's defences if New Delhi ordered a large-scale assault.
"Pakistan's plan was that there should be no casualties or damage, only to show Pakistani capability", said Khan.
"Our action was only meant to convey that if you can come into our country, we can do the same", he said, referring to Wednesday's airstrikes.
