Ordinary Americans, generals, and former Cabinet members paid respects at the US Capitol Rotunda on Tuesday to the late US President George H.W. Bush, who died last week at the age of 94 after a life of service as a World War Two hero, head of the Central Intelligence Agency and wartime president.
George H.W. Bush's death comes less than eight months after losing his beloved wife of 73 years, Barbara. Trump himself has criticized the elder Bush on the campaign trail.
After the ceremony members of the public were allowed offer their respects. Other markets on CME Globex, CME ClearPort and the trading floor will remain open for regular trading hours.
The casket was then driven in a presidential hearse to the US Capitol in Washington, DC, where an arrival ceremony took place in the Capitol Rotunda. With a little training and a lot of supervision, President Bush then operated his namesake train for about two miles.
He will lie in state in the Capitol for public visitation until Wednesday.

WASHINGTON: America´s national farewell to George H.W. Bush began Monday as the 41st US president embarked from Texas on his final journey to Washington, where his remains will lie in state in the US Capitol rotunda.
Thousands of mourners had flocked to Bush's presidential library on the campus of Texas A&M university, where they paid respects at a candlelit vigil at a nearby pond or contributing to growing flower memorials in Houston.
James Baker, Bush's former secretary of state and his friend of 60 years, told CNN on Sunday he considered Bush as "the most kind and considerate person I ever knew".
Bush will be buried next to his wife Barbara, who died in April, and their daughter Robin, who died of leukemia at age three.

Bush was a pilot for the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Shortly before leaving the service, he married 19-year-old Barbara Pierce, and forged the longest presidential marriage in USA history.
Bush's death has also led to a series of symbolic moments.
