The body is made from 6000 series aluminium and the front and back are glass, though you don't get wireless charging. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 636 SoC which is the midrange powerhouse and has either 3 or 4GB of LPPDDR4X RAM or 32 or 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage.
The flagship smartphone, affordably priced at $349 (£299), will be available for preorder starting tomorrow on Amazon, Best Buy, or B&H, and it will start shipping on October 28th in the United States and on the 17th in the UK. Nokia 7.1 Plus will cost at a starting at €319 and will be available from this month.
The Nokia 7.1 features a 3060mAh battery that can be charged via Type-C USB port and fortunately, the smartphone supports fast-charging that takes the battery life from 0-50 percent in 30 minutes.
Unlike last year's $400 China-only Nokia 7, the Nokia 7.1 is coming to the United States and Europe for around $350. A microSD card tray with support for up to 400GB of extra storage is included as well, together with dual-SIM capabilities (in a Hybrid SIM setup, meaning you have to choose between an extra SIM card and a microSD one) and a 5.84-inch display panel.
Nokia Mobile is now in the top five of Android smartphone manufacturers and it's no wonder; the phones are great.

"The Full HD+ 5.84" and 19:9 screen ratio display will automatically adjust brightness and contrast to ambient lighting conditions. HMD claims this native tech can charge the smartphone up to 50% in 30 minutes, which is not bad for the given device in the particular price bracket (between Euro 299 to Euro 349). You can stream HDR content from the likes of Netflix and YouTube, if Nokia's boasts are accurate, while its smart software can boost SDR video to HDR levels. At the front, the smartphone features a single 8MP camera.
The 3,060mAh battery should provide upwards of a day of use, but we'll be sure to test this when we get our review sample.
Talking about the notch, the display has received a special attention in the Nokia 7.1.
Cut to the latter portion of the year and, as the winter nights begin to creep in, yet another Nokia smartphone will make an appearance in phone shops across the land.
