The family friendly series became a pop culture phenomenon. It was praised by fans for its wholesome comedy, lovable characters and valuable life lessons. It aired for eight successful seasons and later aired in syndication. Fuller House premiered on Netflix in February 2016 and has already been renewed for a second season.
Fuller House earned two Teen Choice Awards in 2016. The series won in the “Choice TV Show: Comedy” category. Candace Cameron Bure earned the “Choice TV Actress: Comedy” award.

I grew up watching Full House and it was one of the reasons I loved Fridays (who else remembers TGIF?!). I was so sad when Full House ended and I will admit, I have watched many Full House reruns over the years. So I was thrilled when I heard that Full House was continuing as Fuller House!
Fuller House is about DJ Tanner-Fuller who was recently widowed. She is a veterinarian and living in San Francisco as she raises her 3 boys. It is definitely a story we have heard before with Danny Tanner. So of course it was no big surprise when Stephanie Tanner (who is an aspiring singer) and her best friend, Kimmy Gibbler come to live with her. Kimmy has a 12 year old daughter named Ramona, so it’s definitely a full house!
I absolutely loved watching the first season and my only complaint is that 13 episodes isn’t enough, I want more! I loved seeing a lot of returning characters such as Danny, Uncle Jesse, Aunt Becky (and even their twins), Joey, Steve, and several other characters. It perfectly blends Full House into Fuller House. It’s like I’m watching the same show, just a different decade. I will admit though that the first few episodes seemed a bit rocky and I was worried that this was going to fall flat. Give it a chance though, because it definitely gets better. Fuller House: The Complete First Season is available on DVD now and if you were a big Full House fan, I highly recommend you check it out!
