Big Changes are Coming

If you follow me on Instagram, this will not be a big surprise. Things are changing in my life….we are moving! Not just moving to a different house, we are moving to a whole new state! We are moving from Utah to Arizona. I should have known we would eventually move since my husband keeps getting job offers and they have all been out of state. Back in October he was offered a job in North Caroline. I love it in North Carolina, but it was just way too far away. So when the opportunity came to move to Arizona, we felt so much better about it since it’s a lot closer.

As we have continued the process of getting ready to move, things have just been falling into place so easily that we just know this is the right decision. We put our house up for sale a week ago and it was not on the market for 24 hours and we had a dozen showings and several offers. We ended up taking an offer that was over asking price, but they want to move in by April 1st. So this means we have 2 weeks to pack up our house!

We will be moving in with my parents for the next few months so my boys can finish school, but then we will be moving to sunny Arizona. So wish us luck on this next adventure and if you have any suggestions on things to do with little kids in Arizona, please share!

  1. Congratulations on the move! I can’t believe how quickly you sold your home. It’s nice the boys will be able to finish the school year before moving.

  2. Wishing you the best in the weeks to come! Many adventures in store for you and your family!

  3. I am going to miss you!!! 🙁 But so excited for your new adventure!!

  4. Congratulations! I’m not an AZ resident, but we were there recently. If you live near Pheonix the zoo is awesome and Legoland discovery at the Arizona Mills Mall is nice when you need to get out of the heat.

  5. My parents moved to Arizona when I was one years old a very long time ago! Eventually we ended up back in New York, but I know they liked this experience. Good Luck and best wishes.

I hope your move is smooth. Every time we move, something just doesn’t quite make the move. Last time, it was a big box of our towels & sheets. I picture a person opening a big box of towels & sheets on the side of U.S. 27 in KY–& wondering how it got there, lol.

I wish you the best of luck on your move! I have never been to Arizona so I don’t know anything about it but I have heard it is nice!
