SYNOPSIS

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet retail giant Cornerstore.com. Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when the Baby Factory is accidentally activated on his watch, producing an adorable – and wholly unauthorized – baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop, in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.

My Review

My kids did not know what to expect when I put this movie on, but within minutes they were all sprawled across the couch and completely mesmerized by the movie. It was actually pretty cute and I really enjoyed it. The movie is about how Storks used to deliver babies (and how they used to do it was completely different from the version we are used to…but that comes to play later on in the movie), but now they deliver packages. The movie goes back and forth between Junior (the company’s top delivery stork), Tulip (the only human on Stork Mountain), and Nate Gardner (a neglected little boy who wants a baby brother). Nate ends up finding an old advertisement for Storks Delivery and sends a letter requesting a baby brother. Tulip was supposed to be fired, but Junior just didn’t have the heart to do it even though he was up for a promotion. Well Tulip accidentally ends up activating the baby factory and a baby girl is produced. Now they are racing against everything to get the baby to her new parents without Junior’s boss finding out.

There is a lot more to the story and it’s revealed how Tulip became to be the only human on Stork mountain. You also get to see Nate’s parents realize that work isn’t everything. I thought the story line was really cute and I liked the actors and actresses that they chose for the characters. They really brought the whole movie to life and it’s a movie the whole family can enjoy together. Own Storks on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray and DVD on December 20 or Own It Now on Digital HD!
