Start Getting Ready for Halloween: TRICK OR TREATERS on DVD, Digital HD & On Demand 9/6

**I received the product featured below free of charge in order to do an honest review. My thoughts are 100% my own and others may have a different opinion.**

Here in Utah the weather is starting to cool down and already the leaves are starting to change colors. We love Fall because Halloween is one of our favorite holidays! We have already started setting up some of our Halloween decorations and started watching Halloween movies. My kids adore Halloween movies so they were so excited when Trick or Treaters DVD showed up on our doorstep.

Trick or Treaters follows an orphan named Tiffany, traveling by carriage to a dreary castle high in the mountains, where her wicked aunt runs a home for orphans. On the way to the castle, Tiffany ends up in the hands of three robbers – and considers herself lucky as can be! With a childish lie, she makes them believe that she’s a princess from India worth millions of jewels. Inspired by the little girl’s idea, they agree to take her, but just as the three had feared, she turns their lives upside down and teaches them a lesson about selflessness, kindness and love in this charming tale. Packaged with Halloween-themed wall decals, including bats, mummies, pumpkins and more.

Trick or Treaters will be available on DVD for the suggested retail price of $14.98. To learn more about the film, please visit

My Review

My kids were glued to this movie from the second it started. I thought the animation was low quality, but my kids thought it was awesome and that’s all that matters. They thought the wicked aunt seemed horrible and they were as excited as Tiffany that she ended up with the three robbers. They loved the music and the story. It’s actually a pretty cute story and does teach some great lessons about kindness, friendship, love, and selflessness. It’s a bit different from other Halloween movies, but it’s supposedly about why kids stay up late on Halloween, why candy is passed out on Halloween night, and why you should give a treat instead of a trick. My kids loved it and it really was a cute movie.

They also loved that it came with Halloween-themed wall decals. That was a great treat! They love the printable activity sheet and you can join in the fun by printing your own copy off at home. Just click on the image below.

Trick or Treaters is a great movie to watch with your kids this Halloween season and it arrives to DVD September 6th, so be sure to check it out!

  2. That looks like a cute movie. I don’t think kids notice the animation as much as grown ups do. 🙂
