We have a wiener dog so I thought this would be a fun show for my whole family to watch. It’s about a dog who is the U.S. wiener dog champion and has a chance to compete in the Wiener Dog Internationals. Unfortunately, their dad has decided to propose to his girlfriend that same weekend and has to fly to where she is at. So he tells his kids that they won’t be able to compete. The kids decide to sneak away anyways and enter their dog, Shelly, into the competition.
The kids are faced with sneaking around since their dad did not give them permission to be there and there is a lot of sabotage going on since Shelly is the dog to beat. Their dad ends up finding out that they had disobeyed him and he insists that they leave immediately. I won’t spoil the ending for you, so you’ll have to watch it to find out what happens! It’s a cute family film. It was a bit cheesy in some parts, but overall it was a cute movie. I think dog lovers (especially dachshund fans) will really enjoy this movie.  So be sure to check out Wiener Dog Internationals DVD.
