SUPER HEROES WILL UNITE IN SALT LAKE CITY

FOR AN EPIC BATTLE TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE!
Marvel Universe LIVE! Debuts in Salt Lake

First Ever Action-Packed Arena Tour February 11–14, 2016

Last night we had the opportunity to see Marvel Universe LIVE! and since I have two little super hero fans, we were so excited for the show to begin!

There is a lot of great special effects, but I will warn you that some of these may scare younger kids. My 3 year old got quite scared at the beginning (and I heard quite a few other little kids crying) because the show began with a dramatic “explosion”. Awesome special effects, but it really scared my son and he spent the rest of the show in my lap. He was also quite scared when there was fire, because there was some awesome pyrotechnics. Even though it scared him, he loved the show!

Getting to see their beloved Super heroes such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Spiderman, Wolverine…just to name a few…made everything less scary and created magical memories for my boys.

It’s basically a typical comic book story where it’s good versus evil. The Cosmic Cube, which is the source of ultimate power, has shattered into pieces by the Mighty Thor to prevent it falling into the wrong hands. Unfortunately, Thor’s villainous brother Loki schemes to clone its powers which threatens to decimate not only Earth, but also obliterate the Universe. The Super Heroes unite for one epic battle as you see them fight well known villains.

There are some amazing aerial stunts, martial arts, video projections and even motorcycle stunts that really bring the stories to life. My kids were entranced from the very second the show began. I couldn’t even get my kids to get up at intermission because they were too afraid they would miss a part of the show when it began again.

Oh, wow, that looks like it was pretty awesome! Sorry Noah got scared, but I understand. Loud noises and surprises like an explosion would scare Elena, too. They are pretty close in age; Elena just turned four. She hates surprises of any kind. But I’m glad Noah was able to enjoy it more later. It looks like it was pretty great!

This looks like a fun show. I have taken my kids to similar live shows of favorite movies and tv programs, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sesame Street, Power Rangers, Disney, etc.
