One of our favorite activities to do during the summer is camping. Unfortunately, we don’t get to go as often as we would like to. Now with the Learning Resources New Sprouts Camp Out!, my kids can pretend to go camping anytime they want to!
The Camp Out set comes with:
• 2 Logs with flame
• 1 Lantern
• 1 Fork
• 1 Hot dog
• 1 Marshmallow
• 1 Chocolate bar
• 2 Graham crackers
• 1 Duffle bag
With this fun little set, your kids can safely build a fire, roast a hot dog, roast a marshmallow and make a s’more. The lantern is a lot of fun, especially at night because it’s a glow-in-the-dark lantern. One of my favorite things is the duffle bag it comes with because everything can be stored into it.
My boys have had so much fun playing with the New Sprouts Camp Out! and it’s great for playing indoors or outdoors. My boys could not wait until it stopped raining so they could finally play with it outside. They loved putting out their sleeping bags and pretend to go camping.
My boys are like most boys and they are fascinated with fire, but of course I don’t let them go anywhere near fire. So they were so excited about the pretend logs and pretend flame. So they got to “build” their fire and then roast the hot dog and marshmallow over the fire with the roasting fork.
The fire is definitely their favorite part about this camping set, but they also love to make the s’more and pretend to eat the food. The lantern is also a lot of fun and they especially love taking it to their rooms at night so they can see it glow in the dark.
The products are all durable and are made perfectly for little hands. The only complaint we have is that we wish it came with two roasting forks instead of just one. That way they both could be “roasting” something over the fire. Other than that, we think the New Sprouts Camp Out! (ARV $24.99) is the perfect way to let your kids camp all year long.
