Whenever we have a power outage or go camping, I always think how great it would be to have a lantern. I have thought about purchasing one, but I’m picky. I want something that is easy to store, not bulky or heavy, uses batteries and not kerosene, and is easy to use. I hadn’t found anything like that until I discovered the AYL StarLight 300 Lumens LED Ultra Bright Lantern.

This lantern is amazing! First of all it has the latest LED lighting technology so it not only shines bright, but it generates little to no heat and can be used continuously for up to six days. This is great for emergencies and is a lot safer (and longer lasting) than an type of emergency candles. It’s lightweight and I love the handle for easy carrying.

The top is removable so you can have focused forward lighting or use as a hanging area light. It uses 3 D sized batteries (not included). It also has sturdy rubber and ABS plastic construction for durability and water resistance. The lantern is amazing and really does let off a lot of light. I like knowing that my kids can be around the lantern and since it does not get hot, I don’t have to worry about them accidentally burning themselves. It’s also very easy to use. Just push the button to turn it on, push it a second time to make it brighter, and then a third time for flash/emergency setting.

I would highly recommend the AYL StarLight 300 Lumens LED Ultra Bright Lantern. It’s perfect for power outages, camping, hiking, fishing, boating, or just to have on hand for emergencies.

Wow, six days? That seems pretty good! Living in an area where we sometimes have hurricanes or tropical storms damage power lines I feel a lantern like this is a great thing to have.

My husband would be all over this if he saw it. He is obsessed over high lumens on lamps and flashlights.

This would be great for when my family goes camping! It would be nice to have around the house too if the power was ever out at night.

  5. It really looks like a great lantern, we could sure use it in our hurricane kit.
