Monster Jam at EnergySolutions Arena #Review

**I am a Feld Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending the shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-show events. Even though I receive these benefits, I always give an opinion that is 100% my own.**

We were so excited that we had the opportunity to go to Monster Jam at the EnergySolutions Arena tonight in Salt Lake City. We went last year, so my boys knew what to expect and they could hardly wait!

The noise is very loud, so make sure you bring headphones or ear plugs….especially if you have kids. Here’s a tip for you, if you forget to bring some then you can visit the guest services and get some free ear plugs. We remembered to bring headphones for our boys, but we forgot something for ourselves, so we were so happy we able to get some for free.

My boys were in heaven and couldn’t wait to see their favorite Monster Trucks! Grave Digger is one of their favorites, so they were so excited when he came out!

There were some new ones that we had never seen before like Trouble, Double Trouble, Max D, Dragon and a few others. There were a few we had seen before, but there was quite a few of our favorites that weren’t there and that was a little disappointing. Still, it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed a lot of the competitions.

Our favorite competition was the Freestyle Competition. My boys loved seeing the trucks jump over the cars.

We had a great time, but we have to say that last year’s Monster Jam was a lot better. There were several competitions that they didn’t do this time and there weren’t as many big name trucks like last time. So my husband and I were a little disappointed, but it was still a lot of fun and the time flew by. We were sad to see it end. It was a really great family time and if you are looking for something fun to do for Valentine’s Day, Monster Jam will still be here and they have two shows!

I’m so glad the boys and you had fun! Sorry some of your favorites weren’t there. Maybe next time? But I’m glad it was still fun!

My grandsons have a pair of headphones that we bought for events like this. They also used them at a steam engine parade we have in our county, and when they ride along in go karts with a loud engine. They would love to see this show!

  3. My kids went to Monster Jam in Miami a few months ago, and they sure had a blast too.
