Synopsis:

Scooby-Doo and those “meddling kids” Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma are back in this all-new original movie! Velma discovers she’s inherited her great-great-uncle Dr. Von Dinkenstein’s cursed castle in the terrifying town of Transylvania…Pennsylvania, that is. Just when the Gang persuades Velma to go claim her inheritance, the ghost of Dinkenstein Castle blows up the Mystery Machine as a warning! Now the Crew must spring back into action, but this time it’s personal! Who’s responsible for the Dinkenstein monster? What family secret has Velma been hiding? Will Fred recover from the loss of his beloved Mystery Machine? Can any helpless snack survive Scooby and Shaggy’s monster-sized appetites? This Scooby-Doo adventure has enough spooky fun to make the whole family come alive!

My Review

I grew up watching Scooby-Doo and I love watching their new shows with my kids. The animation is great and of course I love seeing the whole gang…Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, Velma, and of course Scooby-Doo! This DVD definitely didn’t disappoint us and we loved watching it and discovering the Dinkenstein monster. The movie kept all of our attentions and we had fun trying to solve the mystery. I liked that the answer was not obvious and really had us guessing. The saddest part of the movie though was the loss of The Mystery Machine. Overall it was a great movie for the whole family to watch. Own Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy on Blu-ray™ Combo Pac, DVD & Digital HD August 19th.

My son and grandsons love watching Scooby Doo, we have several Scooby-Doo dvd’s already. This will have to be added to our collection.

Not the Mystery Machine! It’s not Scooby Doo without it! I loved watching that show as a kid, too. This seems like a great dvd for fall with Halloween coming up pretty soon. 🙂
