Kick Off Summer with Educational Insights Diggity Dogs Game (Review & Giveaway)

**I received the product featured below free of charge in order to do an honest review. My thoughts are 100% my own.**

It’s officially summer and I know the lazy summer days will feel great for a few days, but by the end of the week I will be hearing the cries of “I’m bored! There’s nothing to do!”. I think it’s important for my kids to still engage their minds during the summer, so I love to have great educational toys on hand. Want a fun game perfect for kids ages 4+? Educational Insights Diggity Dogs Game is a great way to kick off the summer fun.

We are a dog family so this was a great game for us. The game is easy to follow and understand. You start off with passing out 2 cards to each player and then put the rest of the cards face down in a pile. All of the dogs are lined up and you decide which dog you want to adopt. Each dog has 3 symbols that you need to collect so you can adopt that dog. On your turn, you either “go fish” from another player’s hand or draw a card from the pile. Once you get all 3 cards for the 3 symbols on the dog you want to adopt…then you get to “adopt” that dog! Whoever adopts the most dogs wins! The game is recommended for ages 4+ and can be played with 2-4 players.

Tobin loves the game and requests we play it daily. I was surprised that Noah (who is only 2) actually understood the game better than I thought he would and he likes to play it with us. He needs help with it, but he still has a lot of fun and it’s a great teaching game.

This game is great for practicing counting and matching skills. It also encourages social skills, turn-taking, and good sportsmanship.

If you are more of a fan of cats than dogs, check out the Kitten Caboodle Game. It’s the same game except with cats instead of dogs. We would highly recommend either of these games (just depending on if you love cats or dogs more) and you can purchase either game at Educational Insights for $14.99.

GIVEAWAY: One LUCKY U.S. or Canada winner will receive their own Diggity Dogs Game.
